To prepare your child, choose comfortable clothes, schedule the session during a time of day when they are typically in a good mood (like after a nap), and bring along their favorite toys or snacks. Keeping the session playful and fun can help ease any nervousness.
Any age is great for portraits, but milestones like newborn, 6 months, 1 year, and birthdays are especially popular. These sessions document key developmental stages and personality changes.
A session usually lasts 1–2 hours, depending on the child’s age and cooperation. We allow breaks if needed to ensure a stress-free experience.
Generally, I take bookings about 3-4 weeks in advance, but additional time may be necessary during the busy fall season. It is better if you schedule children’s sessions during the early mornings or after a nap so they aren’t tired or hungry. For older children, after school or weekends are best.
With three young children and a husband, weekends are mostly devoted to my family. I can take some sessions on some weekends for the clients who can not adjust their work on weekdays. Clients must book 3-4 months in advance and pay an additional weekend session fee.
The session fee includes the pre-consultation, session time, and an in-person ordering session. All additional products are sold separately.
Your ordering appointment will take place up to 1 week from the time of your session. Time could be extended to 2 weeks during our busy seasons.
Depending on the session, galleries range from 20-60 edited images. I only give you the best of the best. Nobody needs to see my missed focus or eyes half open! All images are shown in color. Black and white conversions can be made upon request or an additional charge.
Yes we sure do! They can be purchased a-la-carte or in a collection.
If it starts raining or your child is sick on the day of your outdoor session, we can reschedule our session at a later date. Please give 24 hours notice if at all possible.
We accept all types of major credit cards, cash, paypal, and check. Please note that all products are subject to Collin County sales tax and standard shipping.
You can choose your preferred location for your photoshoot or utilize our 5,000 sq. ft fully equipped studio, where we can shoot freely and comfortably. We can customize your photography session with a variety of backgrounds and props.
We can create unique custom artwork for your home decor. Tell us your vision and priorities during your pre-session consultation appointment. This ensures that there is no misunderstanding and our clients get the right products on time. Custom portraits start around $900, depending on exactly what the client wants.
Your favorite images printed on the finest photographic paper or hand stitched into a beautiful keepsake is the perfect way to preserve your memories and easily look back at your portraits years down the road.
