Wedding Photography at Paradise Cove, Southlake

Southlake Wedding Photographer, Natalie Roberson Photography, photographed this amazing wedding at Paradise Cove in Southlake on lake Grapevine. This was one of those days we just weren’t sure what was going to happen! It had been raining for weeks and it was raining as we arrived at the venue to set up. We watched as small storms moved in and away from the venue over the first several hours of our day. But as the day wore on, the storms began to move out permanently and we ended up having some amazing evening sun and an incredible backdrop for photos!

We arrived to photograph the bride getting ready and quickly moved into the first look. Greg pulled out an old school polaroid and took a great photo of his soon to be wife. He’s a pilot and wanted that keepsake polaroid with him on all of his flights. It was an incredibly sweet gesture that really showed how these two feel about each other. With the weather clearing up, we began the ceremony. Rebecca did a great job officiating the ceremony and the two were quickly saying their i-dos and kissing each other as husband and wife for the first time. After we managed to get the family photos captured we stepped outside to get the sunset and the bride and groom alone together. After that, we partied the night away with some awesome music, great dancing and CAKE! The bride and groom left in a flurry of confetti and off they went.
